On March 3 and 4, 2012. Women’s Room, in collaboration with the association “Women to Women” from Sarajevo (BIH) organized a two-day training for representatives of Centers for Social Welfare in Sarajevo. The training was attended by 26 persons who had, over the course of two days, opportunities to get educated about the issue of violence against women as well as about the protection of mental health of people who work with victims of violence. Training was held as part of the project “Violence against women, detect and prevent”, implemented in partnership between Women for Women and the Women’s Room and funded through the Foundation Open Society Institute. The training was conducted by Maja Mamula, coordinator of the Women’s Room and Maja Vukmanić, coordinator of the Center for Victims of Sexual Violence. We thank all the participants on their participation and the association “Women for Women” on cooperation.
