Invitation to a training “Through Volunteering against Sexual Violence”

Dear all!

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in training for volunteers (students) «Through Volunteering against Sexual Violence», implemented by the Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights.



Training will be held on November 4, 2011 (from 10am to 5pm) andNovember 5, 2011 (from 10am to 5pm) in Maksimirska 51a, First Floor.

Training will cover topics related to gender-based violence, forms and prevalence of sexual violence, consequences of sexual violence, Code of Conduct in Cases of Sexual Violence in Schools, forms of support and protection, and methodology of work with youth.

After completing the training, and in cooperation with the Women’s Room, each volunteer will lead two workshops for youth in secondary schools in their local communities.

Participants will receive certificate for completed training and implemented workshops.

Experience in development and implementation of workshops is desirable.Preference will be given to persons residing outside of Zagreb. Training is free of charge and the attendance at entire training is required.

Application deadline is October 28, 2011 at noon.
