Invitation to one-day training “Using Gender Equality to Combat Sexual Violence”

It is our pleasure to invite you to one-day training “Using Gender Equality to Combat Sexual Violence”, carried out by the expert team of the Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights, and financially supported by Cooperating Netherlands Foundations.

This project was designed as a continuation of systematic, long-term education of youth as well as expert associates and teachers, with the emphasis on prevention of sexual violence among youth and education on gender equality.

Training for expert associates and teachers lasts one-day (7 hours) and starts at 10 am on April 16, 2011 in Hotel Palace, Zagreb. Since training is free of charge, we expect all participants to implement at least one workshop on this topic with youth. Training has been reported to the Croatian Psychological Chamber for points. Invitation letter, short program of the training as well as application can be accessed on the website of the Croatian Psychological Chamber.

Deadline for applications of teachers and expert associates is April 10, 2011. Applications should be submitted by regular or electronic mail to Women’s Room (Maksimirska 51 a, Zagreb). Due to limited number or participants (25 people), advantage will be given to the earliest applications.
