Invitation to training

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the training for volunteers “Using Gender Equality to Combat Sexual Violence” implemented by the Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights.Training will be held on February 4, 2011 (from 10.00h-17.00h) and February 5, 2011 (from 10.00h-17.00h) at 51a Maksimirska Street, 1st floor.Training will encompass topics of gender-based violence, forms and prevalence of sexual violence, Code of Conduct in Cases of Sexual Violence in Schools, types of assistance and protection available, gender/sex stereotypes and prejudice as well as methodology of work with youth.

After completing the training, each volunteer will implement two workshops for youth in high schools in cooperation with the Women’s Room and in the volunteer’s local community.

Participants will receive a certificate of completed training and implemented workshops.

Experience with development and implementation of workshops is a plus, advantage will be given to persons residing outside of Zagreb. Training is free of charge and participation throughout all training sessions is required.
