Premiere of the theater play “Why Me?”

In the scope of the project “L and K in action”, financed by the Office for Human Rights of the Government of Croatia, the premiere of the theater play “Why Me?” took place on December 20, 2010. The play’s theme is focused on trafficking in persons and describes all phases, from solicitation to the final phase – exploitation of victims. The reason behind this place is an attempt to approach youth, convey issues in interactive and understandable way with the am of prevention and protection of youth. Theater group “Minimalists” which created the play is comprised of Robert Budak, Marta Dugandžić, Valentina Lončarić, Ana Pavlović, Matea Stipetić and Luka Žučko (high school students from Tituš Brezovački Gymnasium and students from University in Zagreb) coordinated by professor Ana Đordić. Play was also attended by the deputy president of the Office for Human Rights of the Government of Croatia, mister Šipka and coordinator of PETRA Network, Đurđica Kolarec as well as other associates of the Women’s Room.
