Public action for raising awareness about the issue of domestic violence

We invite you to a public action organized by the Women’s Room in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office as part of the projectSensitization and public awareness about the issue of domestic violence – media campaign “In three clicks choose a life free of violence”

Schedule of events:

  • distribution of leaflets and info materials,
  • broadcasting jingles on the issues of violence against women,
  • raising funds for the continuation of the campaign by selling T-shirts, “Save your strength for tenderness!” whose design is created Teo Perić, a prominent fashion designer.

 

We anticipate the presence of Mr. Milan Bandić, mayor of Zagreb and a brief speech for the public regarding the issues of domestic violence.Public action will be joined by many celebrities who support the campaign: Ida Prester, Zdenka Kovačiček, Olga Pakalović, Nataša Škaričić, obitelj Rucner, Julijana Matanović, Marina Tomašević, Ivana Marić, Ksenija Marinković, Ivica Skoko, Ivana Banfić, Uršula Tolj, Sonja Šarunić, Irina Čulinović and many others.

Objectives of the action:

  • to ensure the availability of information on protection from domestic violence;
  • to sensitize the general public on the issue of domestic violence, with a focus on violence against women.
