Training “Violence against women” held in Mostar in cooperation with the association Women to Women

In cooperation with the organization “Women to Women” from Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Women’s Room held a three-day training “Violence against women” from Sept 8-11, 2011 in Mostar. Training represents one of the activities of the project “Violence against Women, Recognize and Prevent!”. This project is implemented in partnership between Women to Women and Women’s Room, and supported by Foundation Open Society Institute. Training was led by Maja Mamula, coordinator of the Women’s Room and Maja Vukmanić, coordinator of the Center for Victims of Sexual Violence. Participants of the training were representatives of women’s nongovernmental organizations that work on combating all forms of violence against women.
