Workshops in the 3rd High School of Economics
Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights implemented nine workshops between March 7 and 10, 2001 in the 3rd High School of Economics within the scope of the project “Using Gender Equality to Combat Sexual Violence”, financed by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport.
Aim of these workshops was to raise awareness among high school students about the prevalence of problems related to sexual harassment, as the most prevalent form of sexual violence among youth, as well as teach them about prevention methods. Workshops focused on differences between gender and sex, and through examples of gender roles we emphasized gender and sexual stereotypes and prejudice, which can potentially lead to gender-based violence.
We would like to thank 3rd High School of Economics in Zagreb for their interest and enabling implementation of workshops.
